What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep small amounts of information in your browser's local storage. This policy lists the cookies and storage items Scopie uses.
In short
- We only use cookies and storage that Scopie needs to work and to remember your choices.
- We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
- Stripe sets its own cookies when you make or set up a payment, to prevent fraud.
Browser storage
- cleancal_language: the language you chose, so the site shows it next time. It stays until you clear your browser data.
- organization: the details of your business saved when you register. It stays until you clear your browser data.
Other companies' cookies
- Stripe: when you subscribe to a plan or pay an invoice, you use Stripe's checkout, which sets cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to detect and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com.
- Google: if you choose Sign in with Google, you are taken to Google's sign-in page, where Google's own cookies and policies apply. The cookie settings include an analytics switch so you can decide in advance; while we use no analytics tools, it has no effect. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first and load them only if you switch them on.
Managing your choices
You can change your cookie choices at any time with the Cookie Settings button below or in the website footer.
Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Updates to this policy
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change, and change the date at the top.
